Service Description

At Pearson Tutoring, we provide learners with the confidence, skills and motivation to understand concepts and quickly develop and enhance their knowledge, understanding and skill level. We carefully analyse how each learner thinks and processes information and adjust our teaching approach to suit their level of education. We also understand that each learner (and in some cases, parents) have different academic expectations for the tutoring sessions, so we consider each situation on a case by case basis to ensure the session is tailored for each learner. Biology is the study of the fascinating diversity of life as it has evolved and as it interacts and functions. Investigation of biological systems and their interactions, from cellular processes to ecosystem dynamics, has led to biological knowledge and understanding that enable us to explore and explain everyday observations, find solutions to biological issues, and understand the processes of biological continuity and change over time. This subject explores ways in which scientists work collaboratively and individually in a range of integrated fields to increase understanding of an ever-expanding body of biological knowledge. Dinesha provides tutoring for Biology for Grades 11 & 12. Some key concepts and learnings from this field of science include: Biodiversity and the Interconnectedness of Life; Cells and Multicellular Organisms; Heredity and Continuity of Life; and Maintaining the Internal Environment. These concepts and learnings are just a general outline as many schools offer a broad range of curriculum. During a session, learners can expect a thorough review of their class work, organising and preparing for exams, as well as being taught the concepts and theories behind assignments. Homework is also reviewed if applicable. At Pearson Tutoring, we feel an obligation for all learners to achieve their desired academic outcome. We provide a high level of service to ensure the student is made the priority of each and every session.
