Service Description

At Pearson Tutoring, we provide learners with the confidence, skills and motivation to understand concepts and quickly develop and enhance their knowledge, understanding and skill level. We carefully analyse how each learner thinks and processes information and adjust our teaching approach to suit their level of education. We also understand that each learner (and in some cases, parents) have different academic expectations for the tutoring sessions, so we consider each situation on a case by case basis to ensure the session is tailored for each learner. Chemistry is the study of materials and substances, and the transformations they undergo through interactions and the transfer of energy. Chemists can use an understanding of chemical structures and processes to adapt, control and manipulate systems to meet particular economic, environmental and social needs. This includes addressing the global challenges of climate change and security of water, food and energy supplies, and designing processes to maximise the efficient use of Earth’s finite resources. Dinesha provides tutoring for Chemistry throughout Grades 11 & 12, University and other Tertiary institutions. Some key concepts and learnings from this field of science include: Structure, Properties and Reactions of Chemicals; Molecular Interactions and Reactions; Equilibrium, Acids and Redox Reactions; and Structure, Synthesis and Design. These concepts and learnings are just a general outline as many schools and tertiary institutions offer a broad range of curriculum. During a session, learners can expect a thorough review of their class work, organising and preparing for exams, as well as being taught the concepts and theories behind assignments. Homework is also reviewed if applicable. At Pearson Tutoring, we feel an obligation for all learners to achieve their desired academic outcome. We provide a high level of service to ensure the student is made the priority of each and every session.
