Service Description

At Pearson Tutoring, we provide learners with the confidence, skills and motivation to understand concepts and quickly develop and enhance their knowledge, understanding and skill level. We carefully analyse how each learner thinks and processes information and adjust our teaching approach to suit their level of education. We also understand that each learner (and in some cases, parents) have different academic expectations for the tutoring sessions, so we consider each situation on a case by case basis to ensure the session is tailored for each learner. Brian provides tutoring for English from Grades 1 to 12, University as well as other Tertiary institutions. The key academic outcomes involved in english studies ensures that learners listen to, read, view, speak, write, create and reflect on increasingly complex and sophisticated spoken, written and multimodal texts across a growing range of contexts with accuracy, fluency and purpose. Additionally, we aim for learners to appreciate, enjoy and use the English language in all its variations and develop a sense of its richness and power to evoke feelings, convey information, form ideas, facilitate interaction with others, entertain, persuade and argue. These concepts and learnings are just a general outline as many schools, universities and other tertiary institutions offer a broad range of curriculum. During a session, learners can expect a thorough review of their class work, organising and preparing for exams, as well as being taught the concepts and theories behind assignments. Homework is also reviewed if applicable. At Pearson Tutoring, we feel an obligation for all learners to achieve their desired academic outcome. We provide a high level of service to ensure the student is made the priority of each and every session.
